
Self Hypnosis is a practice that invites your body and mind to deeply relax. Once you are deeply relaxed, you spend a few minutes repeating affirmations that support how you want to feel or a positive change that you want to make. You also visualize the goals you want to achieve.
This combination of deep relaxation, repetition, and use of imagination is very powerful.
It can all be accomplished in 5-6 minutes.
I recommend using self hypnosis multiple times a day. After you wake up is a great time because you are already close to that relaxed state. You are also very relaxed right before sleeping, so practicing then is also ideal. Self hypnosis can even help you fall asleep. It is also great to spend a few minutes somewhere in your day to practice. You can use self hypnosis to change your state when you are having a stressful moment.
The more you practice self hypnosis, the more effective it becomes. You can actually train yourself how to relax through this practice. Every time you are hypnotized (by yourself or by me) you go deeper and the effects last longer.
Self Hypnosis is taught in the very first hypnosis session. We also work together to formulate one or two ideal affirmations for you to use when you practice on your own. I also email the instructions to you after the session so you don’t have to worry about memorizing or taking notes during the session.

I am continuing my student hypnotherapy prices through 5/15/21. If you schedule an initial, 90 minute session before 5/15 you will learn self hypnosis as a part of your appointment (an intake and hypnotherapist led deeper healing session are also part of that 90 minutes) and it will only cost $20.
